Transfer
Decades of experience gives us the ability to choose the molding method that will be the most affective for your part design and material considerations.
For those parts or materials that do not lend themselves to compression or injection molding, transfer molding may be the best choice. Bruckman Rubber Co. has the complete range of molding choices available for your needs. We can use transfer tooling or use our transfer molding presses to produce your parts.
Transfer molding is similar to injection molding in that it uses pressure to force rubber through feeders and then into the cavity that forms the rubber part configuration. The main difference is with the use of a pot and force, or in the instance of the transfer press, a pot and ram. A main benefit to this operation is allowing the tool to completely close prior to rubber being fed into cavity. This allows for minimal flash, quick color change over and aids in feeding of difficult or complex part geometries.
